In an innovative and comprehensive relationship with the African continent, a mutual win can emerge. In addition, it can be a role model for multilateral cooperation for the 21st century, for managing interdependence. This should be an overarching EU policy objective. New technologies and innovation in welfare state systems (2018)
This High-Level Group has been asked to focus on public sector innovation and reflect on social Europe and welfare state innovation. Rethinking the public sector system and introducing an extra push of innovation in it and the conception of welfare state is crucial to any policy goal in a Europe everyday more influenced by technology and digitalisation.
