Report & Recommendations following the meeting on 23 March 2021
In its 5th meeting the HLG on Africa Europe Partnership focussed on the existing EU programs and funding mechanisms for Africa and the need to amend those in order to make them fit to serve the realisation of Agenda 2063. This requires a clear strategy to be developed, more coherence and synergy between these programs and funding mechanisms, and overall shift from an aid to an investment and trade mindset.
