He is a Special Adviser at the Swedish Ministry for Education and Research.  He has a long experience in issues of Swedish and European research policy and he has previously been working for the DG Research within the European Commission.

He is an independent consultant in technology assessment in the BioTech and FoodTech sectors. Previously, he was Head of Technology and Innovation for a product category, Plant Manager (Germany, China, and Canada), and Head of Training and Career Development in R&D at Nestlé.

Christian is a Senior Research Associate at the School of Transnational Governance at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy (since 2020). Previously, he has been Head of the Energy, Climate and Resources Programme and Director of Energy Climate House (2000-2019) at the Brussels-based thinktank Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS). He remains a CEPS Associate Senior Research Fellow to this day.

Heinrich Matthee is a political analyst for companies and NGOs, an extraordinary professor at the School of Government Studies, North West University, South Africa, and a non-resident researcher at the Emirates Policy Center (United Arab Emirates). He has worked as a senior researcher in African security at the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa), as editor of the Emirates Occasional Papers at the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and as an analyst for the Middle East and North Africa at Control Risks in London (UK).

Steven is Group Head of Trade Facilitation, (GoTrade) at Deutsche Post DHL and has been with the Group for 10 years, originally joining in 2011 at DHL Express as Vice President, Customs & Regulatory Affairs for Europe and Head of Trade Compliance for Europe, the Middle East & Africa. 

Before joining Deutsche Post DHL, Steven spent 26 years in the Public Sector, working for HM Customs, HM Treasury, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and the IMF.

A university finance academic, Founder and Chairman of the ICMA Centre who teaches banking and fintech. Also a non-executive director (NED) and entrepreneur. He also offers executive education programmes focussing on banking and fintech and also infrastructure/ real estate financing and institutional investment including : “Understanding Infrastructure Equity Assets and their Role in a Portfolio”, and “Financing and Investment in Infrastructure and Property Real Assets”. He researches and teaches on the subject of “The Energy Transition – the role of banks and asset managers in mitigating climate change.
